Introduce your friends and family to Fair Trade by hosting a Tribes and Nations Store-in-box Consignment gathering. A small action that can change the lives of many in disadvantaged situations around the world.

  When you host a gathering at home or at church or at local community events and share your own Fair Trade Story you support people in poverty

·         by speaking up for them 

·         by providing them a sustainable income

·         by encouraging the growth of Fair Trade here in Australia

·         by enabling initiative and dignity among them.  


As the Bible says” Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality. At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality, as it is written: “The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little.” 2 Corinthians 8: 13-15 (NIV)



When to host it? 

The most popular times that our customers use this store -in-a-box is in Spring and at Christmas time.

Hosting a ‘Store in a box consignment’ is 'fun leaning', where people are enjoying them selves and learning something too.

What do you get ?


PLEASE NOTE that this consignment in NOT intended as a fundraiser but is a FAIRTRADE awareness raiser.

The idea is to raise awareness that our choices make a difference in this world.

Running a consignment would look something like this: –

·       Fill in the simple one page consignment form which mostly deals with timing of the event, who is responsible and how will you pay.

·       receive from $150 worth of consumables (non-returnable) and $300 plus of quality handcrafts

·      you get to put together a small talk or fun activities from our notes and partner information to share the benefits that the people in different tribes and nations received from the sale of these goods

·       Enjoy a time of creativity, information and tasting Fairtrade coffee and tea in your setting.

·      When finished, pack up the goods not sold and send them back to us (if outside of  Sydney) or call us to pick it up.

·       We will account for all the products and let you know of the due amount.

Who takes care of /pays for delivery of the goods?


Do I receive any discount?


Do I have to pay upfront for the goods,

Yes, when it is confirmed you are going ahead with the consignment, and the form is signed, we will need a $150 payment via either PayPal, credit card or EFT into our account for the non-returnable consumables.

Once the Artisan goods are returned we will send you an invoice and settle the due balance.
