These beautiful African baskets are hand-woven by women, using tough sisal fibres, in richly dyed colours, show casing life by the sea at Mombasa, Kenya. They are generous in size, sturdy, and come in various colours.

• This one being in stream of purple and natural weave.
  

The camera didn't do it justice to pick up the lovely purple tone of deep amethyst with the natural and leather trims.

• Each one is sold singly; because this is handcrafted, each one may vary slightly.
